6000k or 8000k

I'm trying to decide which I want. I heard anything past 6000k isn't recommended but I really like the blue light. Also I heard u get less visiblility but I thought HIDs were suppose to increase visibility but with less brighter lights. Just wondering what u guys think...

6000k = pure white with a hint of blue
8000k= white with more blue (noticeably blue)

i'd go with 6000k. looks cleaner. eventually after many mods i'll go with 6000k.

I don't like 6000k they just don't stand out enough for me. My 8000k are just tinted blue, but they are mostly white.

Yeah, I want the light to stand out so it looks cool. If it's white, I might as well stay with the halogens...but yeah have u had any problems with ur 8000k? I heard somewhere it's illegal or something bc ppl mistake them for police lights. I might be wrong

I have a split vote...

Can anyone give me any pros and cons for both? I will probaly go with 8000k but like i said, someone told me it reduces visibility but I thought it increases it but with less brightness. Sorry if I'm being a pain. And i WILL get a tsx retrofit bc I want my high beams to have it as well.

If you want looks than 8000k. (too blue for me). If you want a little visiablity than go with 6000k. I personally would go with 4300k. Just to let you know as you get further away from 4300k the less the visibility you will get. JW are you getting projectors? or are you going to use your stock lights.

Projectors. I'd hate to blind someone and have him run into my car. My dad keeps insisting it doesn't but I've researched and it's proven it does if u don't get any retrofits. But I try not to argue, I just let him have his way.But yeah I will get some before I even buy the HIDs
