2000 SE - In-dash clock
Clock in my 2000 Accord SE has recently died, and I'm looking for a replacement. I found a used one, and according to description it's for 01-02 models. I can't figure out the difference between clocks in 98-00 and 01-02 models. Any ideas? Thank you!!!

It's not that it's not showing anything, butmore like it shows strange things, like 22:99, or 03:67 or sometimes incomplete digits, so seems like controller is dead, and whole clock unit has to be replaced. I just saw one for 01-02 Accord, for $20 but was a bit hesitant because I wasn't sure if it will work fine with my 00 model.

You are probably correct then that it's torched... I honestly don't know the difference, if it had a part number you may be able to cross referance it or remove the clock and compare the pictures, it's almost worth the risk for $20.00.... here's the removal instructions if you need them
1) Attach a piece of masking tape to the console panel below the clock 2) Using a flat-tipped screw driver wrapped in a shop towel, gently pry up the clock to release the clips; then remove the clock by disconnecting the connectors. The module houses the clock and the hazard light switch. 3) The bulb screws onto the LCD clock back and can be easily removed. A replacement is under $2 at the Honda dealer.
