'94 Accord's radio don't work, prev owner says antenna

Just bot a '94 Accord. Radio don't work, cd player does. The previous owner, a mechanic, whose daughter drove it, thinks it's the antenna. Any way to troubleshoot that?

No static, nothing.

remove it and check the antenna is still connected.

I have the same problem with my 95, but I can't find the antenna any idea where it's at. I do get static though

the antenna is connected at the back of the radio.

then it routes to an interface where it is imbedded in the rear glass. you'll see lines that are for defrost then separate lines in a different pattern that are the antenna. that connection at the glass can fail. inspect it.

you can buy a standard antenna and install through the trunk/rear quarter panel like most cars if you want. it can even be power. PartsExpress sells them.
