94 radio and digital clock wiring problem

well i just purchased my 94 accord ex vtec and it came with an aftermarket radio.it was hooked up incorrectly because when i removed the key from the ignition, it would still stay on and drain the battery.so, i decided to redo all the wiring correctly and hook it up with correct connections.as i did this.i believe some wires touched and caused a spark(hot wire and maybe some other wire).i have already checked under the hood to see if the fuse blew out and nothing.but now the worst thing is that my radio wont turn on at all?>,< and i also noticed that my digital clock is way dimmer than the usual.what can i do to fix this please help.

did you test the radio memory and ignition fuses with a DMM to verify they are good? you need to meter a fuse to know for sure - that is why they have small tabs you can touch with a DMM while the fuse is in-place.

simply set the DMM to measure VDC, ground the black lead, and touch the red lead to the fuse tabs (both). if you have voltage on one but not the other, you have a bad fuse.

next, use the DMM behind the radio to test the ignition and constant wires. also, ensure the head unit is firmly grounded to car metal.

would that make my digital clock dim though?will it fix the dimming?

Why not try fixing it 1st and then see if the Dimming stops with the problem... :)

alright.so i got the dimming to stop.now i have a weird problem...wiring.it isnt as said on the posts that i have found.i have a white/yellow wire and a yellow white wire...and obviously the white with red that is switcched...well i dont know which wire of the yellow/white and white/yellow go where...and in the diagram that i saw.there are two of the same wire colors used...so i dont know how to hook two wires to one?it isnt working.am i making sense?if you see the diagram, it says constant is yellow/white as well as car antenna trigger...what do i do???i dont wana blow my 4th fuse.please help:confused:

you can use a DMM to measure each wire to determine what they do. Just measure voltage on the wires with the car off and on (taking care not to let wires touch metal).

This is what I found for your car, which is different than your list.
