96 Accord with intermittent radio issues

I have a 96 Accord LX sedan with the stock radio and am having sound issues. The sound from the radio cuts in and out repeatedly, going from being completely normal to having no sound at all in a matter of seconds. Sometimes it can be something as simple as going over a bump or making a left turn that causes the radio to restart working normally. It also seems that when the car gets warmed up the radio works a little better.

Through this whole time, the lights on the radio work fine, it is just the sound that cuts out (this happens for both the cassette player and the AM/FM). I've already changed out the radio once, thinking that was the issue, but it's happening with the new one too. I've checked the wiring behind the radio and it all looks good, and the fuses under the hood look good too.

Any ideas? Or do I just have really bad luck in buying new radios that they both would have the same issue?

Thanks

Sounds like either the speaker wiring, or the voice coil in one of the speakers is shorting out. Does it work most of the time, and only go out for a short bit then come right back? If it does the same exact thing with two different units, its the wiring or the speakers themselves. Either at the radio plug or the speakers themselves, check the impedance of each speaker, should be 4 or 8 ohms. If you see 0.00 ohms you've got a short.
