98 Honda Accord EX....No instrument or A/C Back Lighting
 

Here is the History:

I came out to my care and got in and saw that someone had broken into my car and stole my aftermarket stereo. To get it out they cut the master radio harness. Needless ot say I was pretty upset that someone felt the need to take something of mine and declare it as theirs. [:@] I got in the car that night and I went to turn on my headlights and teh instrumetn cluster and A/C backlighting did not come on. I thought that it was probably because the harness housed some sort of circuit that needed to be closed so I founda totaled 98 accord and cut the master radio harness out of it. I spliced the two together, installed another stereo and....nothing, the backlighting was still out. The radio worked though. I have checked every fuse that I know about in teh cabin and under the hood and nothing is popped. Can you guys help me out and point me in a direction. I am thinking about taking it in to get diagnost but some help now would be great.
