Accord 2009 - Door Locks with Gear

I wonder why Honda does not have this feature of having all door locks once the gear is shifted to Drive
And Unlocks when its shifted back to Parking?
Cant we modify it?
Is it a big task?

My car does that now that I have a remote start/alarm installed. You can add that feature,

There is a way to do this. It is outlined in your owners manual on how to program the way the car locks. I re-programmed mine to lock whenever I shift into Drive, and unlocks whenever I shift into park. If you want to know how to do this, look in your owners manual. However, if you do not own a manual, reply to me and I will share with you how to program the door locks! :)
