RE: Amp

well first of alll u will need 2 amps
a mono d class sub amp and a 2 channel just for ur 3 subs...... why not go 4 subs and just get 2 mono amps that would be better for you. (they should be about 600 watts total power ) Also u will need a 2 channel for your rear speakers but depending on ur watts for speakers u will just need to match it up with an amp usually bout 150 watts is good

i see alot of choices when it comes to class d amps, how much power do i need in that amp, and in my 2 channels...my window speakers are pushin 200 RMS each, so some specifics would be awesome.

If you get a chance got to mtx website www.mtx.com
they match up subs and amps. I am running to 7512 12" subs with the 801d amp and it really pumps

Hi I am a Newbie here.. but ive been studying car electronics for quite some time so i know a bit about this stuf.. well as for a 6 sub setup you dont really have to have 2 amps. you can run it on one if you know how and have the right stuff. It all depends on a few things. and you already know some of it. The lowest level of resistance your Amp can handle (1ohm,2ohm,4ohm....) most can handle down to 2ohm some of the better ones handle down to 1ohm. next you need to know power you want... and number of subs and the ohmage of each sub. suppose you want 3 subs and your amp is 2ohm stable... so you would need three 6 single Voice coil with each sub able to handle the max output of that amp. running it in series&parallel is better when you have DVC. the MTX you are talking about would do well parallel.
