Amplify or not?

I have a 1998 Accord EX and I recently installed Kicker 6"x9" rear deck speakers and Sony 6 1/2" front door speakers. I am currently running the stock head unit (which sounds much better than it did with stock speakers, but just not as much bass as I want) My question is, how much does the stock head unit put out rms wise?, and how much of a difference would it make when I install the head unit I will be getting (Kenwood ecxelon rated at 22 rms)? The kickers are rated at 75 rms and the sonys are rated at 40. should I amplify the kickers or not?

the stock head unit puts out probably around 10 watts. the kenwood rated at 22 probably buts out between 15 and 17 realistically after resistance and what not.

an amplifier is not only good because it will put out more power and do it with the power still being clean, but it adds extra filters to the sound enabling you to get more precise sound and the ability to tune it more to your liking.
