ew..

anyway, you're lookin at quite a bit of neon for that. You can get tubes at your local auto store.

trust me, i dont wanna go that far with it, just want to install them under the dash, and wire them to go with the beat of my subs, for competitions n show offs n stuff

Oh ok haha

Well like I said, local auto stores like autozone, NAPA, Pep boys, etc. always have loads of neon from tubes, strips, and little lights. I'd look there first if I were you.

i wanna stay away from the cigarette lighter ones, i want the ones that need a 12v power source.

do a websearch man. to be honest with you, the neons have kinda gone by the wayside, so finding a good website that everybody uses will be tough.

cut the cig lighter plug off. hook one wire to a switch/acc power. ground the other.

thats true too, now my other question is, since i dont wanna use this for my own personal use, i was looking on youtube and i found this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KMu8RZjEjh8 thats what id like to use them for, to do that. they were saying something about hooking the wires up to the amp, but i dont know what wires to plug them with, any ideas?

no the amp is getting constant power as long as the car is on. and if you chose to draw power from the amp, you will never be able to turn them off while the car is on. they make sound modules for neons. i have one but i have no idea where i put it.
