audio overhaul. but how to remove the existing equipment???
ok well yesterday i bought a 95 4dr EX. it came with an aftermarket HU but stock speakers. the speakers are pretty much shot, the surround has seperated from the cone.
anyways, i need to know how to get the headunit out so i can put mine in by removing the center dash, also how to access both the front and rear speakers, i tried to pry the cloth grills off but they were resistant so i wasnt sure if that was how they came off and did not want to break anything so here i turn to you all. also if i am correct, i understand my car has 6.5" midbass and tweets in the dash but cannot find the tweets, where are they located and how access them? i know this is alot of info i am asking for and it is most likely floating around here but havent found it. anyone who can help i would greatly appreciate. many thnx |

Center console removal:
http://www.installdr.com/InstallDocs/Honda/Accord.html The side door speakers just grab the cloth grills around the speakers in the door and squeeze together a bit and pull and they should pop off.... the tweets in the dash can be seen if you look down the A pillar to where it meets the dash/windsheild tucked away in the corner and they just pop up and twist a little bit to remove them |

Try going to Crutchfield's website, they will be able to tell you what mounting depth you need for your front speakers.
