Yup, they should fit.
You also can get adapters so you can use diff. size speakers if you wanted. Round for Highs, ovals for deep/bass.
T00fat will probably recommend you amp those speakers. Hes the audio expert here so he'll explain why!

yep those ought to fit just fine. if you amp them, you'll bring out theyre full potential. if you have an aftermarket head unit, your speakers should be getting less than 25 watts rms for most. the sensitivity rating on those 6x9's are pretty good, so hook them up normally and see how you like it. car audio is all subjective

Definitly should amp them. Any speaker in that price range is going to soung about the same, half way decent. Don't believe that is a 3-way speaker, that is just a sale gimmick. A "super tweeter" is not a mid bass.

If you want good sound your going to have to spend a bit more than that. I would say forget the rears, and spend as much as you can on the fronts. The rears don't add much, and mess with the staging. On top of that, oval cones are prone to distortion and aren't as good of a speaker.

Couldnt have said it better myself. ;)

Well while this is somewhat true it depends on the speaker. You run down to Walmart and pick up some of their Sparkomatic 6x9s then yes youre going to have some problems because an oval cone generally isnt as rigid as a round cone so theyre more prone to distortion.

However, you go and pick up a set of Polk Audio MMC690's or MB Quart Reference 6x9 components and you have a very rigid, high quality speaker. The upside of quality 6x9's is that you get all the good sound of a round driver but the added cone area gives you more low end oomph.

And yes, supertweeters are load of crap. Even my beloved Polk MMC690's are marketed as a "3 way" but Im here to tell ya, a 1" midrange AINT NO MIDRANGE! :D

Yeah I should have specified that. I have JL VR 6x9s and they do sound great, just not as bright as my 6.5"s.
