Back up camera problem
 

I have a double din DVD player was working fine but after i added a back-up camera, now the DVD player won't turn on when the car is running, the back up camera working fine though, comes on when i put in reverse and goes off when i take it out of reverse, but the DVD player only comes on when the key on 1 click. If i unhook the "reverse in" wire from the back of the from the reverse switch then the unit will work ok, without the back-up camera off course. ( some off Chinese brand) Anyone can give me advice ?

Okay, it figured out the problem, got it fixed.

I connected the wrong wire at the back up light switch so it get constant 12v, which gave me a black screen all time with key on making me think the unit won't turn on or off. While the back up camera still works if i put it in reverse because the camera gets it power from the backup lights.I double check the wires at the switch and connect the "rev in" wire to the wire at the switch that only gets 12v when the rev gear is engage.
