BlueTooth Question on 2007 Honda Accord
 

I would like to know if there is anyway to install bluetooth capabilities in my 2007 Honda Accord. I know the 2008 accords offer it with Navi but I am not sure if its possible with a non-navi 07. Any ideas?

I've looked into the possibilities of installing an '08 navi system, etc into a 7th gen accord. In theory, this should work given the system still operates on the IEBus/GA-NET II bus, but at this point it's only speculation. I too am looking for something OEM to add my bluetooth phone amongst other things to the 7th gen navi system. It seems like an uphill battle that Honda isn't interested in making any easier. Why don't they just release OEM parts for 7th gen Accords to support MP3, Bluetooth, etc? I know it's a little late, but I'm sure plenty of owners would buy it instead of some doodad on the dash. Anyway... if you have the electrical knowledge, ETM for the '08 and '07 accord, you could probably find a way to transplant the newer system with it's support for the wonderful features Honda forgot to implement in it's previous Accord lineup.

Have you seen this? I have been looking at it for a while but I can't make my mind up if I really want a hands free system or not.

I think I saw the "ModooFree MHF-R220BT : Bluetooth Rearview Mirror HandsFree Car Kit" or something similar why scouring the net for bluetooth ideas...

...looks like it would work, but you would still need to integrate it with the head unit (if you wanted to stay with the OEM look)
