Sorry for sounding like a newbie. Im not really into all that electronic stuff but I mean it was a gift why not use it!

speakers, sub, box, connectors, and wire.
what amps specifically were you given? an 800 watt fosgate and an 800 watt crunch are not the same.

Santiago_909 01-13-2014 07:11 PM

Im not sure which one is which but ima take a guess and say its crunch just bcuz the amp ihave seems cheap like in the video and it doesnt say fosgate.. seems like the amp iwas given is a knock off for sonys xplode..

it should say a brand on it somewhere. there are a bunch of brands out there. and it is a spectrum of how close they are to rated. not really a hard line good amp bad amp type thing. or post a picture of it. that will help.

Its called Xplore 800 watt amp and it also doesnt say the RMS! Oh okay so this will get the job done till ican get my hands on a newr amp then?

neophyte 01-14-2014 11:46 PM

your factory stereo is probably better. not trying to be rude or anything just honest.

Santiago_909 01-15-2014 03:20 PM

Lol so ishouldnt put in the system or keep the factory stereo and not buy an aftermarket? Ihave 99 accord stereo if it can be installed with the stock its great save me some money! Its okay didnt think nuch about it anyways..

Sony Xplode 800 watt? I wouldn't use sony xplode personally but I know alot of people that do. I would also look up the specs for the subwoofer you have. Most people just buy a speaker box at the store but if you want the best sound/performance out of your sub it's best to build a box or have one built to the required specs of the subwoofer. Each one is different and requires a certain volume inside the speaker enclosure, also differs depending if you go sealed or ported.

Mmm no ibelieve this is the knock of brand of xplode. Oh okay iwas just gona buy one but ill make sure to make a box better! And whats whats better sealed or ported?
