Dash board screen error!
 

Hi guys,

I have a honda accord 2003 imported from Japan.

It was all good until one day I left my headlights on and the battery was dead. After I jumpstarted the car, the dash board screen started to displayed the error message as the image attached below.

I cant read Japanese but I guess it requires a reboot system disk to be inserted oor something. I now cannot use the touch screen to control the aircontioning and other stuff.

If you know how to fix this problem, or where about I can get the disk to get the screen going again, please let me know.

when the battery dies or is disconnected, the head units require a code to unlock them (theft prevention). the car should have come with a card (credit card sized) with the unlock code... assuming you can even read it.

you may have to call Honda... or learn Japanese.

I think learning Japenese should be on his list of to do'd..Welcome New Member. :)

thanks guys, but I dun have the card. I asked my friends who can read japanese and they said that th screen says I have to insert a disk and I believe its the system disk which doesnt come with the car when they imported it. Do you know anyone that have the same problem? my car look like in the attachment below. Thanks for your help.

And do you have a local Honda dealershop around your city?
If you do...put it on them to help you figure it out..They should be
able to help you.
