Do you prefer an MP3 CD or USB MP3 to play your music ?

The reason I asked which one do you prefer on your aftermarket radio is because I'm not sure what to use. I mean, I kind of hate that every a new song I like comes out, I have to make a new CD instead of just using my IPOD. The problem with the IPOD is that it doesn't let me select the folder with the music I want to play, as it just automatically connects to my radio. So basically I have to be skipping songs after songs when I'm driving. I can't access a certain folder I have made. For example; I made a folder for party music, relax music, hiphop, classical, pop, dance. I have mutiple folders but my aftermarket Sony CDX-GT56UI won't let me select the folder. In the directions it does say I can, but it won't let me.

sounds like a better HU will solve your problem. one that lets you access folders, display text, search, etc. most will do this. i'm not a fan of Sony head units, simply because i think they are poorly designed and cumbersome. Kenwood is pretty simple and solid, as is Alpine. Pioneer can be cumbersome as well.

i agree CD's are bulky and difficult to change. A thumbdrive or portable player can make more sense.

If your looking for better sound quality in your car go with MP3 CD, USB's dont give as good as sound quality as CDs do if you ever get the chance test it out and play the same song from a CD and through the USB but if the quality and crisp sound doesnt matter to you that much then USB sounds like the way to go for you.

My 2010 accord wont play mp3 discs...service manual, and THANKS for the download!...states "it may play SOME mp3's"

sometimes you may confuse .mp3 with .wma or .mp4. these formats are generated by importing songs with Windows Media Player or iTunes, respectively. They will not play on a mp3 player.
