Door Speakers

I just wanted to make sure the mounting depth for the front doors are 2 inches right? Also, can the OEM speaker covers be removed easily, and if so will it look bad? I am thinking about getting the Dual speakers that light up blue, so if the OEM grilles cannot be removed, do you guys think the light would shine through, and is there an easy 12v source in the door?

HELP! Okay, I am buying speakers today and just want to make sure what the max depth is? I have seen 2' and 2.25 for the door. The shallowest speakers at wally world are 2.25, so would they work? Also is there an easy 12v source in the door, such as the courtesy light? Thank you SO much for your help ASAP.:D
