Electrical mystery

I have a 1992 Honda Accord LX coupe runs like a baby. In six years she has never failed to start up, no matter the weather. I went to start her up this morning & I thought someone stole my battery which I bought 6 months ago, a brand new Sears Die hard. What could possibly cause that. I mean the lights dont even turn on. I switched batteries just in case to no avail, it started my 95 Accord right up. I need some ideas what it could be. Knuckleheads from auto parts stores have no clue. Someone please holla back. I have it sold & I dont want to **** nobody over.

sometimes a simple loose connection will cause that to happen.

take a DMM and measure the voltage of the battery at rest.

If you solve your mystery- tell me. My 1992 Honda Accord is electrically dead as well- except the flashers, horns & brakes. Fuses appear fine. All connections seem solid. Battery fully charged. It's a mystery to me...

same exaact thing my girlfriends car did tonight. (97 mustang). I replaced the ign relay. car started fine. so either there was a short in the fuse box or the relay was causing the problem.

so its not the relay itself. same thing happened today. however I wiggled the relay and the car started. I think it is a short in the under the hood fuse box. check that on your honda.
