GPS ATTACHMENT ON A IN-DASH DVD PLAYER
I wanted to know if there was anything like a gps unit to connect to a aux of a in-dash dvd headunit. ( Not talking about the portable tomtom and garmin )
But a actual gps brain unit and antenna connecting to the headunit so I can switch to turn on the navi mode. The reason why I am asking this is cause my headunit is navi-ready but the company of it didn't make any gps attachment for it.I mean if I could use a remote mount navagition unit from a another brand to hook onto my unit. Would that work? Has anyone try this before? I wanted to see if any car tuners out there have done this before. Thank you for any kind of feedback. |

When i did my system i bought a kenwood HU with the GPS receiver, cost quitea bit more, but it was worth it. heres a link

Sorry about that.. i have a panasonic cq-vd7005u. I called panasonic and they told me they don't have anything for it yet. But that I could use a third party gps adaptor..but they didn't want to tell me which brand is compatible with their unit.
