Question GPS Navigation Update Question

I recently purchased a 2003 Accord Coup EX w/ Navigation and love it. One constant problem I am having is that the GPS seems to be pretty crappy. I mean, the routes it tells me to take make almost no sense and while I know this often happens with GPS's, mine seems to be extremely heinous. I know that it is possible to upgrade the system (mine is currently version 1.0).

My question is does upgrading the GPS by purchasing the DVD from Honda upgrade the route making capabilities and actual system, or just add more roads to the database? It is about a $170 upgrade, and I want to know if it is worth the money. Thanks.

Here is the link to the update (v 3.90) that I am talking about: http://www.navigation.com/is-bin/INT...gationMenu=YES

Default Mine too

See my post re my 09 Accord Nav. I summed it up as "it really sucks", and you are better off with a 200 dollar garmin or a 2 dollar map.

I would also go with a nice Garmin unit. You'll have flexibiltiy for mutliple vehicle use, and it'll be much more accurate.
