Guage cluster lighting issues - 99 EX V6
 

My 99 EX V6 Sedan has been having issues with the guage cluster lights for the last few years.

3 yrs ago the light behind the odometer display went out. the numbers still light up, but you cant read them at night. Then, over time, other parts of the cluster have darkened as well. its not an intermittant thing; when they go off they stay off.

right now, I only have the speedometer and the fuel guage lighting up at night.

I have watched youtube videos on this and people are saying its not the bulbs burning out, but solder joints breaking in the circut board???

Isnt it safe to assume it is simply replaceable light bulbs? I really dont have the money or resources to re-solder the board.

Are all the light bulbs the same size and if so, what size are they and where can I buy them? Thanks.

before you assume it's not the bulbs, replace the bulbs. they have a 2,000 hour life.
