Default Honda Accord 1994 - Radio Lockeed

I have a Honda Accord 1994 and unfortunately, someone ( :-) left a door slightly open and drained the battery. As a result, the radio activated the anti-theft code. As the car is very old I never got code from the original owner.

I did however, open the entire radio cover and retrieved the serial number (FF011752), went on Honda's website, entered the VIN (JHMCD5658) and got only one code: 23514.

I tried to enter it into the radio but it is still now working. I even disconnected the battery again and still only getting one angry bip after inserting the code.

Do you have any recommendations?
Thanks so much,

There's a limit on how many times you can attempt, perhaps 5. When I had this problem, I pulled the backup fuse (fuse 39) in under hood fuse box for 20 secs to reset. If this doesn't work, radio replacement may be necessary.

good luck

agreed. it's possible the radio isn't original to the car (despite being factory) in which case the code may not match what was expected for the VIN.

aftermarket would be an affordable option that could provide modern conveniences and BT calling.
