Installing aftermarket head unit into an Accord w/navi?

Will I need any sort of special harness etc to make it work properly in a navi car without screwing up the navi?

not sure, i havent tried it. but surely if you keep the factory unit powered up everything will work as it did before. Does the navigation have any sound that plays through the speakers? (i.e. voice commands, etc..?) if so u may need to put some type of speaker on it so you can hear the navi audio.

hey, i have the same thing, in my 04 accord... i have a navi, and a harness from crutchfield to my aftermarket stereo, which then goes to my amps, subs and speakers. the only negative is that i dont hear any prompts from the navi (the harness doesnt support that). but i think i found the solution to that, and i'm waiting for the weather to get better to actually install it. someone suggested that i hook up a cellphone speaker, like the handsfree sets that cingular usedto cell to the navi... so thats what i will try to attempt very soon, i will post my progress, and if succesfull all the parts u need...
