Ipod and Bluetooth solutions for 2007 accord

I have a 2007 accord hybrid, with gps navigation and voice assist. I have checked the pac-audio and usa-spec websites for ipod and bluetooth solutions and they run on the websites from $75-$150.

I then decided to call a local usa-spec dealer here in san antonio and they estimated the cost of the parts at $310 then an additional 60 to install. I was quoted at 150 for the auxiliary parts and 150-160 additional for the blutooth. The guy said that the auxiliary parts have to be installed to install the bluetooth.

I was under the impression that this was going to cost 150-200. Is the local dealer taking me for a ride?

On the pac-audio website there is a "bluetooth & cell-phone integration kit" for 79.95!
Pac-Audio.com Product Details | iPod Integration for your car and More by Pac-Audio - Connecting you to the future

Is this all I would need? What should I read before attempting to do it myself?

Thanks in advance!

PS im new to this forum so links to related archived material would be appreciated!

Your dealer knows what they are doing.

the $60 charge is for 1 hour of installation. it will likely take you 4 hours. so it's a matter of what your time is worth and if you want to buy online to save money.

certainly, you can get the bluetooth adapter cheaper online.
