I installed a deck and a amp/sub in an 03 accord sedan today..... The head unit was one of ours, a pioneer DEH7700. But the subs were memphis audio.... Anybody ever heard of them? I have installed this brand before.... but good lord this setup was loud! It was two twelves and i don't know how powerful the amp was, the markings were all scratched off .... But the size of it wasn't that large, only 10" by 12" or so.... but good gracious my ears felt like they were about to BLEED!

Also, every time i do a system in a car like mine it makes me itch to come home and work on mine, I have to kick myself to keep from workin on it! dammit boy! just leave it alone![:@]

 

Memphis makes good subs and amps.

 

Memhis subs and amps arent really that bad. They arent expensive either. They are kind like Cerwin Vega, they are designed to be loud, not for pure listening.

 

Memphis is usually pretty good quality i see them advertised alot in the IT mags and HOnda Tuning..... Whats the "Directed" company like? any good?

 

Directed is like the ***** of the moble electronics industry, they do kust about everything, and they are cheap too!

hell yeah thats all i run in my car, i figure anything you can buy from WAL-MART is gonna be some gooood SHIAT! LOL

 

If im right, I believe that wally world dropped road gear... now they have something like "Roadmaster"... right, more like suck-*** master.
