Metra 99-7864 Adapter for 2003-2007 Accord
 

Hi all, first post on the forum.

I'm looking to replace the head unit in my 2005 Accord Coupe LX. Doing some research on the Metra factory integration adapter on Crutchfield yields an interesting pattern: the reviews seem to get more positive in the last couple years, while older reviews complained of lag on the climate controls, poor illimination, etc.

Has anyone worked with these enough to know if the units were refreshed and improved somewhere along the way?
