Need some 2005 Nav help

Basic question:
Is it necessary to actually drive to a location in order to have that location updated in your "previous locations"?

I was adding a lot of places and getting directions in hope of building up a bunch and then transferring them to my personal locations. The previous locations folder is empty. My "today's locations" is filing up.

I have experience with Beemer Nav and Garmon - this one's a bit different but very thorough.

Also, it seems the NAv does not interact with the clock - tells me the lapse time to get somewhere but not time of arrival - just minutes to arrive....

Thanks if anyone knows this stuff

On my nav if I enter the address and let plot the course it is in the previous destinations. The ET is a function of your speed and the distance. If you slow down in traffic the time to destination will increase. It does not happen instantly since it would be changing all the time but it does check periodically
