New guy.. Stereo Help

Hi all. Im new here, I have an 06 Accord EX-L sedan in carbon bronze coming in around Friday.

My question is simple... I have been searching for about 25 minutes with no luck on this forum, so Im wondering if someone could tell me real quick.... The model Im getting comes with a 6-CD in-dash changer with the auto climate. I see there is a button for "AUX", or auxiliary input. This is nearly always the red/white combination RCA inputs. Im wondering how I can access these.

Do I need to buy the cable that converts stereo to RCA and plug it into the head unit itself, or is there a wire coming out already? Also, do I need to do all the work of getting to the back of the stereo to locate these RCAs if it has them?

Thank you so much.:)

Justin

Welcome to the forum! I don't know off the top of my head about the AUX input on an 06. What I can tell you is that there is a few other threads about the stereo systems... Check out this one it seems to have the most info...

there are no standard inputs on the back of the honda radio... but there is a "honda specific" plug on the underneath of the radio itself. This input is used for the optional tape player or mp3 player that replaces the big storage unit underneath the radio. I believe a company named "pac industries" makes or is developing aux. input converters for factory radios. go to best buy and see if they are available in your area.
