New and Needing Some Advice
 

Hello everyone,

I am new to the Honda community and need some advice on a purchase. My wife and I are currently looking at a 2011 Honda Accord (Demo) w/4600 miles and a price out the door of 29,000. It has everything except Nav system and that is where we need help with. Can anyone give us some advice on whether to get the factory system put in or if anyone knows about some aftermarket ones. Any and all info will be greatly appreciated, before we buy. Thanks in advance.

Someone should be along soon to tell you about that..I'm old school and still rely on good old maps only..I do use google maps but that's not your Navi your looking for..

Ok everyone, I fixed my nav problem. We just went ahead and found a car that all the bells and whistles. Only one problem we have already encountered. The voice command sucks. It will not recognize anything at all. Has anyone had this problem and if so, how did you fix it? Is there like a master reset switch somewhere or voice command update? Help!!! Thanks.

sorry man, that's a very specific question on a 2011.

refer to the Technology Reference Guide - page 10. follow the Voice Command steps. let us know if they work. Page 194 of the Owner's Manual says to refer to the Navigation System Manual. it should describe how to program the Voice Recognition System. I don't have that manual.
