Please help!
 

Let me start with what I have:
98 accord lx 2.3l 4dr
Old Sony cassette head unit (came with the car...), brand spanking new infinity kappa two way. And some 3 series monster cable on the way.
All the speaks that came with the car finally crapped out on me so I ordered new ones, I installed the rear kappas, everything was peachy. Put the driver side door in, worked while everything stayed on, then I turned off the car and turned it back on. Not even static was coming through.. I thought I grounded the speaker out.. I pulled the deck out and un plugged the leads. Re attached them and no problems. I continued to the passenger side, plugged it up and checked, nothing... I unplugged all the front wires, and then the rear speakers fired right up...
Is duct tape conductive? The kappas have a pigtail you're connector and if I didn't duct tape and zip tie them to the window switch wires, the window would hit every time. I'm sure none of the wires are touching the door, and I'm also wondering if the factory wires, being really small, can't handle the new speakers? Or maybe my hu can't? I'm completely flabbergasted and lost... Any hints our ideas are very welcome.
