i mounted mine behind the headlights, almost impossible to get to, you'd have to take the front bumper off and remove the headlights to get to them.

Mine are mounted by the battery/Intake and the other is between teh ABS unit and fender. They are bolted there
Many people mount them under the headlights or someplace in the bumper cover

Get a pinned hood and use small locks instead of the pins!

put a sticker on the window that says "hood / window break alarm installed" or something to that extent.
