PS2
Hey everyone, I just got a new PS2, the new small one. I plan on puttin it in my car. I'm going to mount it inside my armrest and just use an FM modulator for sound[:'(]. I've got a little 6.5" screen on the way that i'm going to mount flush :eek:in an aftermarket dash kit that replaces the lower pocket. The only thing i'm not too sure about doing is powering it up. I know i can get an AC/DC converter, but i really don't want to install a converter box in my car. So while i was looking at the back of the PS2 I noticed that the power supply is 8.5 volts DC!
If anyone has put the new PS2 in their car, how did YOU power it up? Is there a car plug you can purchase that will convert 12v to 8.5v?[:@] Where can i get it?:D |
RE: PS2
I have a ps2 in my car and I plugged it into this adapter that plugs into the lighter and is a regular outlet. we ran the wires for the adapter under the middle console and behind the lighter so I still have access to it. I only use the lighter to plug in my cell phone charger[8D]
