Speakers Yay or Nay

I recently purchased a used 2010 Accord EX, and wanted to add some after market speakers in the rear deck, but want to keep the stock head unit. Will the unit put out enough wattage to make the new speakers sound discernibly better then the factory speakers which currently are there. The speakers I had in mind were

Pioneer TS-G1644R 6-1/2" 2-way car speakers — for 6-1/2" and 6-3/4" openings at Crutchfield.com

or

Sony XS-GT1338F 5-1/4" 3-way car speakers at Crutchfield.com

What do you all think worth the switch despite not wanting to change my head unit.

honestly, if you are not adding an amp, just leave the factory speakers in there. and if you are adding an amp buy comps for the front and rear speakers not just one or the other.

i agree that you need aftermarket amplification for an improvement.

a Kicker 10ZX350.4 (or similar) has an auto turn-on and high level inputs for plug-and-play without serious wiring, you don't even need to remove the HU.

a 4 channel lets you also power new fronts or bridge to a small sub.
