Stereo build, 2007 Accord Coupe
Hello All,
Looking to build my system piece by piece. Started with sub and amp(Thanks, Keep Hope Alive!), now looking for door component speakers to run solely off stock headunit without amp at the moment. They need to fit in the OEM locations and be able to support an amp in the future(the last step will include rears, amp, signal processor if necessary, etc.). I would also prefer something with a matching 6x9 that I could purchase in the near future. My budget is around $200 for components and $150 for 6x9's. Help a young man out...thanks!:) |
Hybrid Audio Technologies Imagine I61-2
They have a matching 6x9 as well. |

Visit their website. Scott is having a sale right now. Buy right from the owner direct.

if you have a sub in the back and you dont need the bass that the 6x9 provides you may also want to look into converting the rear to 6.5 or 5.5 speakers.

Keep Hope Alive, how do the Hybrid Audio Speakers compare to these? And which would you choose?
WoofersEtc.com - ESK 165L - Hertz 6.5" 2-Way Component System http://www.massiveaudio.com/store/pr...cat=303&page=1 |
i have heard both side-by-side. the tweeter on the ESK is awful. like stepping on a cat. The Hertz mids are nice though.
the HAT Imagine are AMAZING for the money - nothing else comes close at the price. and with the sale it is hard to pass up. with subs in the trunk, rear deck speakers will be distorted from the pressure of the subs. i recommend an enclosure around them. in order to get midbass from a door speaker you need a seal. weatherstripping foam around the speaker will help it seal against the door panel. do this for the front doors. foam between the speaker and the door metal will also help it seal and prevent rattles. i use foam for every speaker i install. |
to post a pic you click the button that looks like two mountains and then paste the img url in the box that pops up
|
or just paste the image url in between the [img] and [/img] tags
