stereo interface

I have a '98 accord and would like to integrate a stereo jack so I can hook up my MP3 or android. Does anyone have the information for the connectors on the back of the stereo and which pins I can tap to solve this problem.

thanks

Integral cd changer or single disc? The head units with a cd changer integral do not have AUX input capability. But the radio is easily replaced. Buy a new head unit that has a front AUX and USB.

The integration modules for other radios are $100 anyway. The HU is a better option all around.

I recommend Alpine or Kenwood

it's a single CD with an optional tape (at least that's what the front of the stereo says. I've been trying for months to find info so I can hook up my Ebay purchased steering wheel controls as well. There are available pins on the back of the radio and I'm hopeful that there's a solution there. This is my back-up car, so I'd rather not put too much into the stereo.

Thanks

Integration could cost more than an aftermarket used deck.

Your deck may not have steering wheel control capability, did you verify that already?

if it accepts a tape deck, it should be able to get an analog audio signal in. The trick is figuring out what pins to put a load on so the radio knows to look for the audio signal.

I don't know how to check for the steering wheel control. I was thinking the same thing about the tape deck but I didn't know what pins were the correct ones.

sadly, this information is poorly documented for factory radios.

One last question. How do you know if it's 2 din or single din?

Easy.
