sub and amp for 09 accord

I have 2 infinity 12" subs, along with a 1200 watt amp and cap, I'm wondering if I need to get a new deck for the car for the components to work. It seems like it would be a little tricky to have an aftermarket deck because the stock cd player and everything else are so close together. I'm sure someone knows the answer to this, or someone has done it. Thanks for the help!

no you do not need a new deck

You need a Line Out Converter - about $10 on ebay

take you cap and throw it in the trash as they are complete garbage and do nothing at all.

Here is my Honda

you dont need one but your post is confusing. the deck is the cd player unless you have an external disc changer.

you will need this, it ties into the speaker wires and gives you the RCA output that will then go to your amp

This is a better LOC and has a turn-on circuit.

I already bought a Scosche LOC80 but I know the quality of Scosche can be quite poor: http://www.amazon.com/Scosche-2-Chan.../dp/B00009UHRE

if u go to ur local car audio shop they can give u a loc then and there it may cost more but if u dont wanna wait then its worth it. i got 2 kicker comp 12s in my 04.

Just make sure the LOC has an auto turn on if the amp doesn't.

No amp should be triggered by ignition alone.

know what you are looking for though. just because it is more doesnt mean it is better. most of the shops around here sell ones that are half as good as a pac oem and about twice the cost.
