Sub Woofer rattle

Hey i was wondering if anyone had the same problem as me... i recently installed sub woofers into my car. i thought they sounded awesome until someone told me it sounded like ****. apparently the trunk rattles and makes a loud vibrating noise when the base kicks in. its not the license plate, its the trunk itself. after pushing down on the trunk it doesn't rattle. but the second i let off, it rattles again. anybody have this problem too? and have any suggestions to fixing it? thank you.

Dynamat and as much of it as you can afford.

The sheet metal of the trunk is actually flexing when your bass hits and its rattling against itself. The license tag is a big trouble spot as well. When you push down on the trunk lid, youre adding to the mass of the sheet metal and making it enough to withstand the vibrations. Dynamat will not only cure most of this problem depending on how much power youve got but it will also give you more bass because youre not losing the energy that is currently flexing your sheet metal.

thats an easy do it yourself isnt it? i just watched a quick video on it. tell me if im right.

tear off all the interior stuff
clean in interior
apply the dynamat to the trunk.
then put it all back together.

am i right?
