RE: TSC light comes on intermittently
did any year 2000+ accords come with traction control??

RE: TSC light comes on intermittently
Yes, I meant TCS. The Traction Control System. The alert light comes on. After turning engine off then back on, it clears up, then reappears after a while when slowing down. Sometimes it occurs frequently, other times it stays off for months.

Seriously thou...don't you think that question should have been answered by the Technician who make his Money$$$$ diagnosing there car makers problems..You need to call the dealorship and complain about the CLOWN who was supposed to be helping you out..

Yes, but it doesn't happen when i bring it in, and they didn't find anything wrong when they tried to diagnose.

RE: TSC light comes on intermittently
All I have to say is, RTFM. It may lead to an answer. :D
I took this from my own (Same year accord obviously.), and answering based on what you've told us so far. "When it [TCS] senses a front wheel losing traction, it applies braking to that wheel. The TCS activation indicator flashes when this occurs." |
RE: TSC light comes on intermittently
ahhh ok now i get it. your not crusing around with your spare on are you? or different tire sizes or wheel sizes right? if you are NOT. then it might be the tcs sensor which is located in the hub. its just a magnetic sensor that monitors the speed relationship between a drive wheel and the other wheels. if it notices that a wheel is spinning faster than the other ones, then it must be losing traction

RE: TSC light comes on intermittently
Also, are you noticing any changes when you accellerate? If you are, that means the TCS Might be activating, otherwise it's probably what lightshow said.
