Tweeter mounts in door triangles, 5th gen
 

I just purchased the Polk Audio DB6501 for our 96 Accord ... would like to mount the tweeters in or on the door triangles, and at a reasonable angle.

Do aftermarket door triangles exist for the 5th gen Accords that provide an angled surface and/or enough depth to mount tweeters at a decent angle?

Do any door triangles exist for these years that have a built-in tweeter already, that I can retrofit?

If no to the above, then are there any good DIY threads with suggestions on how to mod the door triangle for best tweeter orientation?

I mounted mine on there. they are nowhere near deep enough to flush mount. check out my build thread.

Thanks ... yes I've seen these style of mods. I was hoping someone had a re-formed plastic cowl for that. I bought an extra pair of triangles online cheap, and may try reforming them with my trusty heat gun ... if I ruin them that's only 10 bucks down the drain. But if they work it would look fairly stock ...
