wanna install new gauge lights 98 accord

Anyone know how many lights i would need to replace, what size, and how much it would cost? I have a 98 honda accord coupe and i wanna change the bulbs to Blue, dont care for LED just normal bulbs. Can anyone answer the questions Above!

I don't know about your car but my 2001 center consol (ac ext) takes 7 bulbs. They are all the same bulb but are in different sized plastic pieces. The dealer wanted $10-12 for each bulb assembly. I thought that was outrageous so I went looking for the same bulbs and just stick it in the old plastic piece. $6 a bulb $&@! At the source. If you wanna do it still you'll need the 12v 25mA bulb.

there was a seller on ebay who sold blue LED replacements for our 98-02 accords. they were affordable.

you can do the mod yourself by removing the bulb, inserting an LED of your color, and adjusting the leads so you can insert a 470 ohm surface mount resistor between the socket lead and LED.

i had a link to that work somewhere, not sure if i'll find it again. i'll look. but if you remove one of the bulbs you'll see how a 3mm LED would be a perfect replacement. the real trick is soldering the leads and getting those damn surface mount resistors to stay put!
