ANC unplug
There is a post in which the owner of a 9th gen accord. ( 2013 model year ) discussed how to disable the Active Noise Cancellation on a 2013 Accord. I have a 2013 Accord Sport and used his advice and went through the passenger side kick panel ( the one closest to the radio, so it would be right next to the passengers left foot.) Just trying to help anyone out, because it helped me. You can pull back the kick panel enough ( starting on the end closest to the engine. or front of the car )... Pull the panel back and shine a light into the space behind the radio. You will see a plug with a lot of wires on it. The ANC module is light gray or some would say white in color. Unplug that plug by releasing the tab on top of the plug. I did this and everything still works. Bluetooth, hands free phone, and all controls. I then installed an aftermarket sub, woofer, and upgraded the speakers. Turned out awesome absolutely no feedback from the sub, totally silent ...All you hear is the music... If you are going to upgrade to the component speakers. ( front speakers with tweeters. ) You will have to get 2 new tweeter panels because there is not enough clearance with the stock Accord Sport panels. ( these are the small panels closest to the mirrors, obviously on the inside of the car. ) The panels you have to get are from upgraded accords that come with the factory tweeters. They are only $25 bucks each and well worth it.
