What are you running?
 
Hey everybody
Just thought id see what everyone was running? as u all know myself what i'm running i'll have some pics on here soon..... neways... what do u guys have? any idea of an spl/db rating? I know i had one 12 inch audiobahn dual voice coil (400 watts rms) running off a tape deck and an audipbahn 560watt rms amp volt meter built in and everything measured it out at 134.6DB and that was with s****y stock front speakers and blown nack stock speakers.... havent tested the inifinity system yet

i run a stock HU with stock front speakers and tweaters, with 2 MTX 12s and a 3000W amp...the 12s and amp are otu of a competition stereo car in the stock HU class...

I thought you had to have a hu with outs so that you could use subs and what not.

Not neccessarily. Some amps have this thing called a "line level input" you just splice a left and right channel from a pair of speakers. THe real pain in the arse with this is finding the remote wire lead to the factory head unit. Some amps have a self start when they detect a signal in the line level inputs. Those particular amps save alot of time and pain.

i have a factory amp, and i got a wiring schematic and found which were the rear channels, and put a RF converter in there..and voila! :)
