Yo T00fatt i gotta couple questions

remember my setup well im still saving so it hasnt got any better....but thing is ive been reading around and it seems i dont have the proper wire for my setup....i think i have about 8 or 6 gauge wire.....and thats including ground..power..and sub wire.....and also my other question would be (but i think i kno the answer)...i threw a pioneer TS-somethin..lol.its blue..12" the one with like 150rms and 800max....well i aded that to the setup and i actually push it to the limits and it does fine...but am i damaging that sub and will it also underpower the kicker to the extreme???

i had that sub, and it was easily over powered all the time, and yes it will uner power the kciker, and over power the pioneer

mind you that the pioneer has been in the setup for about a month now and still no problem

if they flutter at all this is know as sub strain, which means they are being over powered, sometimes this sound sounds like something is lose in your car

When a sub is being over powered and is clipping it doesn't have to break right away, it is getting damaged. And running that sub is not giving the kicker the power it wants, it may sound better because you have a circular sub hitting those highs a bit more, but your wasting power running that second sub. If you don't care about that sub, and think it sounds better I see no reason not to just leave it like that. But that sub WILL blow, 150w is not much power what ever your feeding will burn the coil, or bust the spiders eventuality. How many watts are you running RMS, or what amp is that you have?

ohh well ok yea thats gotta go..lol...rms i think im running about...eh lets say at 2ohm its 500 and at 4ohm its 310...and thats only with one sub...its a mono block PROFILE California Amp 1000w

Then defiantly don't run that extra sub, give that L5 everything it wants. If you want a cheap improvement, build a sealed box for it, it will sound better.

Because the best box is the one you build yourself.
