Accord Advice

Hi All,
Looking for some advice on buying a Honda Accord 2ltr Petrol sport, any advice on what I should look for problem wise?

Anyone got one?

What are they like to live with?

Anyone know of one for sale?

Thanks in advance

Finny

Well, the part about "2ltr Petrol" tells me that you aren't in USA. And you didn't say what year car.
Cheers mate, I'd like to welcome you to the site, but the Swindon-built Accords are a completely different car.

Hondas in general are nice cars, & I have no reason to think the Swindon cars are anything but nice. Honda had problems with 1998-2002 automatic transmissions, but I've been told that UK cars are overwhelmingly manual gearboxes. Honda makes brilliant manual gearboxes.

There's a few UK members on here, but if you want to attract thier attention you should work your location into the thread title.

Hi Mate,
thanks for the reply, you’re right I am in England and didn’t realise that most on here were in the USA, I have been trying to get a 2005-on, Honda Accord 2ltr petrol sport (manual) no luck so far!

I’ll try and find a forum more based in the UK for help.

Thanks again for the help.

All the best
Paul

Don't get me wrong, you're more than welcome to stick around here. It's just that when you ask about cars for sale it's kinda awkward to deal across the Atlantic.

But from 2003 on, your Accord is the same car that's sold in USA badged as the Acura TSX. Nice car, in fact I like it better than the USA Accord because it's a bit smaller.

Hi Mate,

Know you didn’t mean that and I will keep logging on, just meant I needed to find a forum in the UK, like you said you’re a bit of away off.

I’ll post a pic when I find a car to see what you lads think, speak to you again

Paul
