Damp musky smell in center console area of my car

Folks, the ladies all complaining about the odor in my car...I took it to the dealership the chick said she smelled it but none of the dudes smelled it at the service center. Even my girl said it smells. I have no idea what it is. I've been getting it washed at a decent place from what i heard, but this smell started sometime I got my last wash with them. My girl says its like some type of citrus soap or something they used that must have been cheap and it dried off with this musky damp smell.

I need to know what the heck I need to do to get rid of the smell. Is there some type of power wash cleaning service for interior cars? Interior is cloth, not leather. How much would it be get it all done professionally and any recommended places i should go to in Tampa area? thanks.

Just take it to a pro cleaning shop and have the counter girl come out and smell it. Maybe she can tell you what it is and how to clean it up.

Liquid spills into the center console area might allow critters to set up house in the carpet. I've removed my center console and found a pretty nasty scene in the past. Not hard to remove center console.

good luck

Been there a couple times. I don't know how they do it but mice will get inside of your car if they want to.

Try using Dakota odor bomb, it will surely eliminate that smell. But it could also be coming from the evaporator due to mold build up.
