How to revive/protect leather
 

The leather surfaces on the seats in my car are hardening and begining to separate around the seams.

What do you suggest to use to condition and protect the leather? The guy at the Honda parts store said use Lexol to feed/condition and then follow with Aerospace 303 to protect , would this work to revive/protect the leather, are there better products out there?

I don't know what to do about the back seat bottom tearing at the sewed seam, do upholstery shops sew these back together?

Thanks inadvance for your help, I really like this old car and would like to up-keep it as much as possible.

I am not sure there is that much to do once its gottne that far. You can use a protectorant every 6 mos or so to avoid it worsening...

Once it's dry and cracked you can't do much about it. Recently I used TURTLE WAX brand PLATINUM series "ULTRA SHINE PROTECTANT". It gives a lot of shine and protects, but you be advice to use it sparingly cause you'd have to buff it out a lot of times before getting rid of a waxy residue :) it's so "waxy". It's also good for vinyl, plastic, rubber.

Is this stuff really as good as it sounds? Not for my Accord, but I could use it on one of my Cadillacs.
