just detailed car

just used the first two steps of the meguiars products and then topped it off with nu finish. so far it looks good. anyways, the nu finish does take a little time to dry (they say you don't have to buff it), but i still did. what do most of you guys use to cure scratches/dings/dents?

any thoughts are highly appreciated.

RE: just detailed car

scratches = compound + buffer
dents = dent popper
dings = bondo

Yeah i'm curious about this as well... the assholes at work are inconsiderate and are always dinging and scratching my doors.. no matter how far back in the parking lot i go there's always jerks hitting my car :(

same, but im at a high school. it blows because the lot is always 100% full. sometimes over-full and people have to park along the edges of the lot.
So i installed a shock sensor and turned up the sensitivity all the way.
so at least when they dent my door everyone else in the parking lot will stare at them because theres an alarm going off
lol.

yuk....hate that NU Finish junk......get some good carnuba wax....takes some time to dry but thank for todays technology....it used to be a super pain in the a$$ to wipe off....but today it just pretty much wipes off...thankfully.

dent poppers can be found at any local paint/body shop supply house

or you could invest in a paintless dent repair kit and take care of all dings/small dents using that......might even make a few bucks on the side :D

for really small dings...instead of bondo, I use a little glaze...bondo is porous and can leave small potholes when you paint over it...glaze will fill that in but I have never had any problems with glaze sticking to metal so if its small, ill just use that instead.

IBIZ wax doesn't have to dry and it doesn't care if the car is scalding hot! So far, that's my fave!
