Default new here - trying to some white stuff of my paint

Whats up guys(first post), i got a question here about my accord! go figure.
anyways all the paint on the car looks nice, no fading or anything like that, but i removed the wind protector off the sun roof and theres this weird stain around where it used to be. I figured since the rest of the car looks good, whatever that stuff is should be removable. So what im wondering is, what should I use to remove this stuff? i attached a picture, thanks dudes.

also, forgive me if this aint the board to post this in!

ALSO, is there a way to remove that little black square looking thing aswell? thats not super important, but it would be cool. it feels like some super tape or something.

Suggest starting w/ soap and water, and progressing to "goo gone" or equivalent sticker adhesive remover.

Square looks like tape someone added to cover a hole. Not part of original car. If removed you may have a hole in roof that needs repair.

good luck

any suggestion on what type of cloth/sponge to use? to make sure i dont use something that will damage the paint but that will be strong enough to take that off.

there are sponges, and soap out there specifically for washing your car. for mine, the clear is in bad shape or gone so it really doesn't matter on mine, there are lots of "car" cloths and sponges you can use, just go to the car wash section.

Clean and clay the area but it looks to me like the clear coat has been rubbed off and there likely isn't much you can do.
