Small scartches

Hello,

During the winter when i was shoveling i accendly let the shovel rub against my door and it left a scartch. I have the correct paint code and paint. Do i just fill in the scratch or is there a whole process i should do?

If you can feel it with your fingernail it will need to be wetsanded or possibly repainted depending on the severity of it. There are many good detailers (I'm not one) that can wetsand the scratches and blend the remainder in so well you would have to look hardfor them to actually be seen. If they are that bad go to one of the many detailer sites and look for one in your area that has been in business for a while for correction. If they are minor you can look for Meguiar's Scratch X at a local retailer and give it a go on your own.

Use the Honda touchup paint applicator.
Remove the collar attached to the brush/ballpoint applicator.
So you can use the ballpoint applicator.
Clean with denatured alchol.
Ballpoint applicator.
Apply and smooth out wet.
Don't fuss with it.
Repeat once or more after a day to cure.
Finally use rubbing compound after a week dry.
Not too aggressive.
Polish compound then wax.
Works for me.
